So here I was, pretending to be Big-money man, playing at the stock market. Suddenly I see that a position I have in UAUA (United Airlines Ticker symbol) starts to tank like a mofo. I can barely keep the my piss from coming out while on a conference call with work; in the meantime I have to watch my life saving go down the drain. Finally I got a hold of myself, and managed to logon to my Brokerage account and buy some while it was going down. I saw some light at the end of the tunnel when the stock started to climb again, but it did not make it all the way up before the NASDAQ halted trading on the stock. At that point I couldn’t pass a grain of rice (if you are not Dominican, you won’t get the joke). Subsequently, the stock resumed trading after the company released a statement saying they had money stashed under the mattress, and that the Deutsche-bags at the Chicago Tribune had made a mistake. Apparently the one of the drones that post news to the site was stoned and posted an article from back in 2002. In the end, I kinda made bank with this debacle, as I bought some on the down low before it came back up. No pain no gain baby, no pain no gain.
